How We Support Our Communities

We generously contribute financially and our employees volunteer their time supporting a variety of non-profit organizations. Our Board of Trustees targets to donate 5-7% of our after-tax profits to local area charitable and civic organizations. 

Donations

Our commitment to charitable giving aligns with our mission. We support registered 501(c)(3) organizations that serve the communities where Ambler Savings Bank operates. To focus our contributions effectively, we have established four key pillars to guide our giving:

As the pandemic shut down businesses in 2020, we quickly realized the loss local non-profit organizations were also experiencing. So we launched our Matching Grant Program, offering non-profits a dollar-for-dollar matching gift for funds raised up to $5,000. The program continues today. Grants are awarded on a case by case basis.

Since 2020, we’ve helped raise over $150,000 through this initiative!

As part of the Bank’s commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we serve, we offer our employees a Matching Gift Program. We encourage employees to contribute to the causes they care about most. The Bank makes a 1:1 match up to $500 per employee, per calendar year.

Our Ambler, Bally and Limerick Branches feature outdoor digital signage. We accept and welcome requests from non-profit and municipal organizations to have their message featured on our sign. Please use the request form at the link here.

Volunteering & Outreach

Our employees volunteer their time at local non-profits and once a year organize a day of service. 

  • Donation Drives

    Every year our employees and customers help collect for a variety of local organizations, such as Toys for Tots, Mattie Dixon Community Food Cupboard, Daily Bread Community Food Pantry and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

  • Community Events

    We participate in local community days, festivals and cultural events in the towns we serve.

  • Employee Day of Service

    Once a year our employees volunteer together to help with projects in the community.

Employee Matching Gift Program

In 2022, we launched a new Employee Matching Gift Program! Since the start, we have generated over $38,000 in donations to local charities through the program. The Bank makes a 1:1 match up to $500 per employee, per calendar year. Together we make a difference.
